The Hearts of Men Foundation promotes literacy through various programs, one of the most popular being our Teen Book Club. We meet once a month to discuss a novel chosen by one of our teen members. Book selections are made through a lottery system: simply put your name in the hat, and if you’re selected, you’ll choose the monthly read. Join us for food and refreshments as we discuss a great novel.

Statistics show that teens who read for pleasure are far less likely to commit crimes and are more likely to pursue higher education. Our monthly book club sessions also serve as round-table discussions about life and how it often imitates art. These programs emphasize basic skills such as reading, writing, and problem-solving.

The Hearts of Men Foundation partners with other non-profits as well as local, county, and state agencies to help increase the literacy rate among teens throughout Georgia and beyond.
